- I think I might finally have to say goodbye to my trusty iPod mini. It just doesn't listen to what I want it to do, and likes to shut itself off right when I try to play a song. It's kind of a diva, and I don't have room for a diva in my life. The new iPod nano is nice and all, but I definitely like having something substantial in my hand when I want to listen to music. I'm afraid I might break the new one. (For the record, Apple stores are very nice - very bright and shiny... I'd never been in one before.)
- It's too quiet in the house, but I don't think anybody would appreciate me running up and down the halls screaming just for the sake of making a little noise.
- Why is it called monkey bread?
- I want to shoot all spammers and destroy all spambots. I've had some issues recently, and I've missed out on some emails because of it. But seeing as they're all coming to my Pixar Planet email address, I can't really do anything about it - as a forum admin/"Ambassador", I have to be contact-able.
- I found a cool statement on one of my old prof's Facebook page ("Love Life. Love Literature. Love God.") and decided that it would make an awesome motto, but, being slightly pretentious (or wanting to come off as slightly pretentious), I decided to translate it into Latin. My new motto is "Deum, vitam, litteras amemus" or "Let us love God, life, literature." A pretty good motto for an English major, yes? I decided to make it the title of my LJ, too. Now all I need is a coat of arms...
