Today's the last game of the season - I really wish I could have followed it more closely, but it's hard when you can't go to the games every week - and if Liberty wins, they'll set a school record by going 10-2. Plus, they have a chance of making it to the FCS playoffs, which Liberty's never done before.
The game starts at 1 pm EST (10 am PST), but I'm leaving for Turlock today, and even so, the game's not on the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network, which we paid extra for to get on the dish here, because they carry some LU games. (I've decided that when I get my own place, whichever company - Dish, DirecTV, cable - carries MASN gets my business.)
Well, I've got to get ready to leave, but I have to say it again. GO FLAMES! BEAT ELON!
Edit: Woohoo! Liberty won, and now has a chance at an at-large bid for the FCS playoffs... Liberty's never made it that far before. Most conferences in the FCS (just a step below the NCAA Div I teams that play in the BCS) get an automatic bid to the playoffs, but the Big South only gets in if they're invited. Wish I could be at LU for it, but I really hope they get in.
Anyway, I'm a very happy camper.
