Heard some awesome news today. Basically this will be an answer to prayer that would surpass me getting VPJ (Very Perfect Job)*, mom and dad being given the money to go to my college graduation last year, and just about any other thing that I've ever prayed for, ever. This is an answer to prayer at least 4 years in the making.

In my official New Year's 2009 post, I said that this year, I'd like to see "My grandfather continuing to get better (I know the chances of him getting a kidney transplant this year are low, so I'm not officially putting that on the list, but I also believe in a God who does big things... and likes to show off a bit)."

I just found out that my grandparents were chatting with some missionaries, and the topic of Grandpa's kidney issues came up somehow (I think one of them was a nurse or something), and the wife said her blood type matches Grandpa's, and she would have no problems giving him one of her kidneys.

OMG I about wanted to cry when I heard. Of course, there is about a 6-month-long process, but now's as good a time as any to start praying. Just wanted to share the news and enlist the prayer network...

*Oh, and it looks like Very Perfect Employer is accepting more applications for VPJ! Now to find out if I need to submit my resume all over again...
