Okay, so I have a friend back at Liberty who is a phenomenal film maker. He got famous on campus for chronicling his years at LU month by month (now he's endorsed by the school, his videos are considered almost official recruiting material, and I think they even gave him a scholarship for it). I've appeared in a few of his videos: January 2008 (that's me hugging the rock), May 2008 (I'm all over it , but I'm easy to spot at the far left behind Jerry Jr. when he threatens us with Chuck Norris and the last girl on the ellipticals) and a class project called Floor Four (the brunette with the high ponytail). (I've even got a short cameo in April 2008 - that's me in the sunglasses-and-grad-hat super-close-up.)

All that to say that Devin and his friend/cohort Ryan have put together an entry into this year's Doritos Superbowl commercial contest. In 2007, a Liberty grad won the contest, and of course, it would be awesome if a LU Flame could do it again... The top five finalists win $25,000, and the winner gets their ad in the Superbowl. So give it a look, won't you?

Now that I have pimped my friend's video, I am going to bed. Gotta wake up and go to the bank early so I can deposit my paycheck from the church so Geico will find enough money in my account for this month's car insurance payment... I've never been overdrawn on my account before, and I sure as heck don't plan on it happening now.
